A rare varietal in the Finger Lakes, our 2017 Syrah reflects a Northern Rhone style. Fermented using indigenous yeast and no fining or filtering for great expression of terroir and varietal character.
Essence is a full bodied Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (34% ), Merlot (33% ), and Cabernet Franc (33% ). All grapes are handpicked and handsorted and each barrel is carefully selected for a perfectly balanced blend.
